Notes About The Hard Drive For Mac Users

  • The WD external hard drive is compatible with both Windows and Mac. However, Mac users will need to do a reformat of the drive to use with a Mac.
  • Both the 2TB and 4TB hard drives are USB 3.0, however if you have a regular USB 2.0 cable, the drive will work (a bit slower) with USB 2.0
