     At alternateairports.com you can check out a long and comprehensive list of Alternate airports next to the city name (airport name) of most major cities in the U.S. (Like the example shown for Los Angeles – LAX)

     Using the listed example, did you know that you could fly into Long Beach on an airline like JetBlue instead of crowed LAX possibly save a lot of money on airline tickets or fly into Burbank airport on Southwest and be just up the road from major tourist sites like the NBC Studios (Jay Leno) or Universal Studios Tour.
