With the release of the iPhone 5 and iOS6, one of the “BIG” stories was the removal of the YouTube app from iOS6. Up to that point, all previous versions of iOS came with a YouTube application installed by default.
Its has been a few weeks since the release of iOS 6, yet I still find users who are surprised when they realize iOS 6 does not have YouTube by default. Most everyone seems to assume that with all the Apple vs. Google court cases and the change from Google Maps to the new Apple Maps program, that YouTube was just going away because Apple wanted to nothing to do with Google. In the case of YouTube, that appears not to be the case.
