In my last post I talked about RocketDock ( http://rocketdock.com (http://rocketdock NULL.com) ) as one of software programs that use on all my machines. Well for those who have not used RocketDock before here is a few of the reasons why I recommend it –
- Minimize windows to the dock
- Real-time window previews in Vista
- Running application indicators
- Simple drag-n-drop interface
- Multi-monitor support
- Supports alpha-blended PNG and ICO icons
- Icons zoom and transition smoothly
- Auto-hide and Popup on mouse over
- Positioning and layering options
- Fully customizable
- Completely Portable
- ObjectDock Docklet support
- Compatible with MobyDock, ObjectDock, RK Launcher, and Y’z Dock skins
- Runs great on slower computers
- Unicode compliant
- Supports many languages and can easily be translated
- A friendly user base
- And best of all… its FREE!!!
Like I said in my previous post, the task bar at the bottom (to me) is for all the programs and files I have open at any one time. That taskbar space is limited and if I use the Quick Launch bar or Pin programs to the task bar, that limits my space even more. Here is a sample of RocketDock from there website.
And the how to use instructions can be found at http://rocketdock.com/Help/English/ (http://rocketdock NULL.com/Help/English/)
